Cita a ciegas (Blind Date)

pudimos haber vivido.

Cita a ciegas, by Mario Diament

When the past returns as a question…

Cita a ciegas, and the fascinating world of Mario Diament’s play, return to

Sandrell Rivers Theater, this time on its main stage. For those who missed it. For

those who wish to return and discover other paths within the same story. Three new

performances, December 4–6, 2026.

A bench in a Buenos Aires square. A blind writer. A conversation between strangers

that gradually begins to feel like more than a chance encounter. Each character knows

only part of the story. The audience will discover the connections in this delicate puzzle

of memories, desires, and intersecting paths.

Drawing inspiration from Jorge Luis Borges and his literary universe, Mario Diament

brings us face to face with an intimate, unsettling question: What would have become of

us had we chosen a different path?

Directed by José Manuel Domínguez and featuring guest actress Blanca Rosa Blanco,

Cita a ciegas invites us to explore love, chance, and the lives we might have lived.
