Join Fantasy Theatre Factory’s new production of The MIS-Adventures of Pinocchio, a fast-paced, laugh-out-loud adaptation of Carlo Collodi’s timeless story. Packed with physical comedy, audience participation, and heartwarming lessons, this production brings the classic puppet to life in a way you’ve never seen before!

 

Follow Pinocchio, the mischievous wooden puppet, as he embarks on a whirlwind journey filled with temptation, adventure, and self-discovery. Along the way, he encounters the clever but deceitful Fox and Cat, the magical Blue Fairy, and his devoted father, Geppetto. With each misstep, Pinocchio learns valuable lessons about honesty, responsibility, and the power of making good choices.

 

Blending the theatrical traditions of Commedia dell’Arte, slapstick humor, and creative staging, The MIS-Adventures of Pinocchio is designed to engage young audiences with its dynamic storytelling and imaginative visuals. The production features minimal props, actor-driven set transformations, and a vibrant, high-energy performance style that keeps students on the edge of their seats.

Bold beginnings, fresh starts and the mess we had to leave behind. Whether you pack up your life to move cross-country, cut ties with a partner to find yourself, or woke up one day and chose a different career. Tell us what it takes to begin again and what still lingers in the rearview.


The Moth StorySLAM is a community-focused, open-mic storytelling competition in which anyone can share a five-minute story on the night‘s theme. The MOTH hosts live storytelling events in cities around the world, and Fantasy Theatre Factory is thrilled to welcome The Miami MOTH to it’s StorySLAM home at the beautiful Sandrell River’s Theater!

Join host Tarek Turjman for a stand-up comedy show featuring the best comics from across the US & Canada with headliner Francisco Ramos


About Francisco:

Francisco Ramos stars in the feature film The Unexpecteds, executive produced by Kevin Smith. He’s been featured on Netflix’s Gentefied and Hulu’s This Fool, and directed, co-wrote, and starred in his debut comedy short Zoo Animals, now streaming on HBO Max.


Francisco has filmed two stand-up specials—Veenezuela’Merican, produced by Brad Garrett (Everybody Loves Raymond), and HBO’s Entre Nos. A top 10 finalist on Last Comic Standing, he continues to tour nationwide, bringing his unique voice to comedy clubs and theaters across North America.


His TV and film credits include Showtime’s Shameless, Steve Carell’s Angie Tribeca, Netflix’s Lady Dynamite, Comedy Central’s @midnight, multiple appearances on Jimmy Kimmel Live, and voicing Marmoset in the animated hit Rio and Cartoon Network’s Victor and Valentino.

BIO

Pedro Gonzalez is one of New York’s sharpest comedians and the first Latino immigrant to ever perform on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Originally from Colombia, he came to the U.S. at 20 with no papers, no English, and no money—but somehow still managed to land an American wife and build a following of over 300K and counting across Instagram and Facebook. He now lives in New York City with his wife, daughter, and mom. His mom is helping his wife raise the baby and Pedro.
