De aquí y de allá, we all come together at VIDA FEST.

The VIDA Fest Choreographic Lab is an immersive creative opportunity for artists ages 18 and older who are interested in exploring choreography, collaboration, and performance-making in a supportive and community-centered environment. Designed for emerging and established movement artists alike, this lab invites participants to engage deeply with creative research, choreographic experimentation, and collective artistic development alongside CVDT for their newest work set to premiere September 2026.

Artists will be encouraged to generate original movement material, investigate personal and cultural narratives, and develop their choreographic voice while working alongside a diverse cohort of creators. The lab values curiosity, risk-taking, generosity, and mutual support. Participants should come prepared to move, reflect, collaborate, and contribute to a creative community dedicated to artistic growth. Prior choreographic experience is welcome but not required; what matters most is a commitment to the process, an openness to experimentation, and a desire to engage meaningfully with others.

The Choreographic Lab will culminate in a public sharing as part of VIDA Fest, offering participants the opportunity to take part in professional work and connect with audiences through the festival platform.

Applicants must be 18 years of age or older and available to actively participate in the lab.

*GA Festival Pass prices will increase on July 6th from $200 to $225 and run through July 31st. On July 31st Festival Passes increase to $250. The Student, Industry, and Daily pass will remain the same.
