Un Doble de Nofal

Jun 4, 2026 - Jun 7, 2026

“A Double of Nofal” brings together two short plays by acclaimed Argentine playwright Rafael Nofal in a moving, contemporary, and deeply human theatrical experience.

The first play tackles an urgent issue: drug use during adolescence and its impact on the life of a sensitive young man with a passion for literature. Through an honest and intimate lens, it invites reflection on the topic and on a therapist’s efforts to help him.

In contrast, “Until the End of Days” immerses us in a luminous story about the enduring love between an elderly couple, and the special bond they share with their granddaughter—a young woman who dreams of following in her grandfather’s footsteps in the world of theater.

Featuring performances by two young actors—a 20-year-old and an 18-year-old, both with theatrical training—this production resonates with younger audiences, who will see themselves reflected on stage. The staging blends visual elements such as projections and UV lighting, creating a modern aesthetic experience in the style of Antiheroes Project.

Age Appropriateness: Suitable for 16+, Parental Guidance Recommended. Themes of drug use and youth life in correctional facility.

This project is presented in partnership with Fantasy Theatre Factory at the Sandrell Rivers Theater and it is made possible with support from The Jorge M. Pérez Family Foundation at The Miami Foundation and the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs and the Cultural Affairs Council, the Miami-Dade County Mayor, and Board of County Commissioners.
