GROUND ZERO is a performance installation by Carla Forte that unfolds in the aftermath of human and geographical rupture, when familiar coordinates no longer hold. Through movement, image, sound, and spatial intervention, the work explores memory, loss, displacement, and resilience. The body becomes a territory where fragments of experience persist, disappear, and reemerge. Rather than reconstructing what has been lost, GROUND ZERO examines the fragile process of beginning again, where each gesture becomes an act of orientation and both the body and the ground itself must be rebuilt anew.
