Our Miami-Dade arts community is facing real challenges. We're stronger when we face them together.
Join us for the inaugural gathering of Neighborhood pARTners, an evening of collaboration, conversation, and engagement leading to action in Miami-Dade County's arts and cultural community.
Arts organizations are navigating an increasingly uncertain environment. From threats to public funding and the potential impacts of Amendment 3 to new legislation affecting diversity, equity, and inclusion, the challenges are significant. But so are the opportunities for us to come together, share what we've learned, and develop strategies to move forward and to push back.
What's working? What's standing in our way? And what can we accomplish together that we can't accomplish alone?
This won't be an evening of sitting quietly and listening to presentations. We're bringing arts leaders, cultural organizations, and artists together for active participation, candid conversations, and meaningful exchanges.
Through facilitated small-group discussions, we'll share our successes, examine our challenges, exchange practical ideas and resources, and identify opportunities for partnership and collective action.
We'll also hear from invited guests during a facilitated conversation exploring the issues confronting our sector and the strategies available to address them.
The goal is simple: leave with more than we came in with. More ideas, more connections, more resources, and concrete steps we can take together to strengthen our arts community.
Come ready to share your experiences, learn from your colleagues, make new connections, and help shape what comes next.
Light refreshments will be provided.
Admission is free, but registration is required. You may register at the door but advance registration is encouraged.
